Named in honor of my late mother, who came to the U.S. from Cuba at just five years old, Del Carmen is a reflection of her spirit: strength, resilience, and an unwavering belief in possibility. We didn’t grow up with wine cellars; we grew up with questions and the drive to become something more. This brand is the answer to those questions.
The Origin Story
I was tired of feeling like the underdog. I grew up in a small town, knowing I did not want to fall into the small-town mindset, where it was easy to believe that your circumstances were your destiny. But I wanted to see what would happen when someone decided to get uncomfortable—to stand up, to fight, and to forage for a better life.
